Ski Shop Sales/Rental Associate

Skiing and Snowboarding is a social sport, and as part of this team, you’ll be the direct connection between consumers and our brand. We are passionate about skiing and riding, knowledgeable about the products that make the experience event better, and offer an exciting, fast-paced work environment.

The Breakdown:
We are searching for a qualified Full-time or Part-time Sales Associate to work in all our locations

Job Description:

• Working at the shop you will be dealing with the daily flow of retail customers. 
• The position entails either providing a positive experience for our daily and seasonal rental customers, or depending on experience/willingness to learn, selling skis, ski boots, bootfitting and more.
• Other tasks will be required of you ranging from restocking, cleaning and tidying up, basically whatever is needed for the day to day operations of the business. No one should feel that they are above doing any job. Every job is crucial to having the business perform at the level that is expected.

• Willingness to learn
• Vast knowledge of the ski industry is not required. Willingness to listen and learn is a fine substitute. We here at Pedigree are passionate about skiing and are more than willing to share our love and knowledge of the sport with new employees who aren't as familiar.

Physical Requirements:

• Continually able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and loss prevention
• Continually able to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel, and carry product, necessary for customer service, inventory re-stock, and store merchandising
• Ability to safely lift boxes up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable climbing ladders
