Job Description & Requirements
Whether your passion is camping, hiking, summiting mountains, or going to music festivals with your friends, Field Scout is looking for FMRs who can speak from experience and represent a brand that’s deeply rooted in the outdoor lifestyle. As the FMR, you will hit the road for a city-by-city national tour and participate in multiple high-traffic events. In addition to meeting potential customers and telling a brand’s story, you will also be responsible for setting up and breaking down all equipment.
Along with a generous salary, all travel expenses—including airfare and accommodations—will be covered and a food allowance will be provided.
A LITTLE ABOUT YOU
- Love to travel, meet new people, and make new connections
- Possess extraordinary attention to detail, follow-through, and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communicator (both verbal and written) with great interpersonal skills; a team player
- Passionate about outdoor recreation and nontraditional marketing
- Willing and able to work nontraditional business hours
- Have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record (acceptable to our insurance carrier for inclusion on our coverage); experience driving a school bus, large vehicle, RV, truck, and/or trailer is a plus
- 1–3+ years of relevant experience (field marketing or outdoor guide)
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Able to use handtools
- Able to lift up to 50 ilbs
- Able to stag activation elements to meet agency and clients styling guides and branding standards
- Able to perform duties in a wide variety of weather conditions and temperatures
- Able to perform repetitious movements
- Able to climb a ladder and stairs, walk, lift, stoop
- Have manual dexterity
- Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
