Help us project our passion! We are looking for someone to be our voice to current and prospective customers. If you are experienced with brand development, effective messaging, and content marketing, we want to talk!
Located near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon, Skimo Co is focused on backcountry skiing. We will be expanding into the trail running market starting in spring 2021. We offer competitive wages, opportunities for advancement, and of course, pro-deals on all the tools of the trade.
Duties:
= Create and maintain a marketing and brand awareness strategy.
= Manage the production of informational articles and other website content.
= Develop and execute advertising campaigns, promotions, and events.
= Keep our passionate customers up to date through our website, email, and social channels.
= Assist with retail operations in a pinch.
Requirements:
= Excellent writing and communication skills.
= Willingness to provide a passionate level of detail.
= 3+ years of experience in marketing or content production.
= Outdoor industry experience preferred.
= Must play well with others.
Bonus Points:
= In-depth knowledge of ski mountaineering gear.
= Understanding of the local backcountry ski and trail running scenes.
= Excellent references.
