Job Description & Requirements
Are you highly knowledgeable about cycling equipment - components, accessories, and related gear? Do you want to perform an essential function in the cycling industry, but not be tied down to one location, or to specific work hours?
Compatio has an opening for a part-time, contract position for a Product Analyst, covering the cycling industry. You will work with Compatio's product taxonomists to document product features and help build our knowledge base of cycling components, accessories, and related gear.
This is very detail-oriented work that requires accuracy and good communications skills, both written and verbal. Skill with spreadsheets and light data processing is extremely helpful. Ability to research products and find product specifications that might be obscure, by working industry contacts and/or web searches, is required.
Requirements:
● Deep knowledge of cycling components and how they interact in a build is mandatory. You must have at least 5 years professional experience building, upgrading, and/or repairing bikes.
● Education: 2-year degree (Associate) is a minimum requirement, or equivalent work experience
● A personal computer or laptop, and a stable broadband internet connection is required
This a contract position, part-time, with an opportunity for a permanent role. Hours and work location are flexible. All work is remote via web conference.
