Tahoe Junior Freeride Series, DBA Tahoe Freeride, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that hosts big mountain freeride competitions for over four hundred skiers and snowboarders in the Far West Region (California and Nevada). Tahoe Freeride events are ranked and sanctioned by the International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association. Tahoe Freeride is committed to providing competitions that are friendly, supportive and build community on and off the venue. The competitions foster growth opportunities for athletes to: strive to be the best they can be within their physical ability, make healthy decisions, gain resilience in the face of failure and humility in the face of success, and have fun. Tahoe Freeride’s guiding principles for event production address the interests of all athletes from the first time competitor to the world champion.
